For this exercise I wanted to show
what I think of Justin Bieber. I personally don’t like him or his music. I
think he is an excessively popular person with little talent. He is adored by
many young girls, in my opinion, for no reason. I wanted to show that while he
is considered good looking and popular he is two faced and not as good looking
as he would have you believe.
To make my piece I took a picture of
Justin Bieber from Google and cut out the background and made two copies of
just his head. Then I took a picture of “Bruce the shark” from “Finding Nemo,”
made it smaller, and copied just Bruce’s smile. I then took a picture of a
unicorn, made it smaller, and cut out the background. Finally I took another
copy of the image from “Finding Nemo” and made it large enough to fill the
image size. Then I put it all together. I did this by placing one copy of
Justin Bieber’s head onto the image of Bruce and making it 59% translucent. I
then took the second copy of Justin Bieber’s head and put it to the right of
the first copy offsetting the two. Then I burned in the area of Justing
Beiber’s eyes on the second copy as well as dodging out his nose almost
completely. I then placed the shark’s smile over Justin’s mouth and put the
unicorn in front of Justin’s new mouth.
